Teletherapy is an alternative form of counseling. Instead of going into an office your therapy takes place on a mobile device (cellphone or tablet) or your computer. You’ll still work with a licensed therapist but eliminate your commute and waiting room time.
That’s okay. You’ll have support and plenty of options. Your counseling sessions can be by either by phone or video sessions. Our therapist will walk you through both options and you can decide what works best for you.
We offer dialectical behavioral therapy, trauma informed treatment, cognitive behavioral therapy, grief and loss therapy, family systems therapy, brief solution focused therapy.
Sessions usually last about 50 minutes long.
We take HIPAA compliance very seriously. Your personal information and therapy plan will never be shared with anyone unless you have specifically consented for us to do so.
We work with Person Centered Tech for both Teletherapy and HIPAA Security (www.personcenteredtetch.com). Person Centered Tech is the premier organization in the mental health space with years of experience assisting mental health practices to remain HIPAA compliant.
We accept most major insurances and check your benefits and co-pay before your session takes place to estimate what your counseling appointments will cost based on your insurance coverage. We also accept self-pay. Our self-pay rate is $120 for the first session and $80 for all follow-up sessions.
Yes, we are accepting new clients. We have several wonderfully skilled therapists on standby ready to assist you and your needs and help you find your Silver Lining. We handle the behind-the-scenes work, you just have to take the first step.
Once you’ve made a referral and your benefits have been checked, you’ll be matched up to a therapist that best suits your needs, and he or she will be in touch with you to schedule your appointment.
If you made a referral on behalf of someone else, we will a need consent from the client that they agree to our services. Once received, we’ll decide who should be the main point of contact and schedule the appointments from there.
Each of our therapists are licensed and trained to work specifically with you. Our therapists have the following licenses: (LCSW) Licensed Clinical Social Worker and (LCSW-A) Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate.
To make your first appointment more comfortable, your therapist will call you ahead of time for a quick chat. This way, you can work out any nerves you may have in regard to therapy and voice concerns before your first counseling session.
At Silver Linings, you’re not matched up through a computer with a therapist. Amanda, our Marketing Relationship Specialist, will do her best to match you up with the therapist that best meets your needs. And if after a few sessions, you do not feel that things are going well, just let us know. As human beings, we cannot expect to get along and connect with everyone.
We understand that each client has different needs and that some may only need a few sessions, while others may need more. Its been our experience that you will often know when you have reached your initial goal. If that’s not the case, your therapist will let you know when he or she thinks you are getting close to reaching your therapy goal and a termination plan will be constructed. Remember, just because you reached your initial goal does not mean you can’t work on something new or take a break and come back later if something else arises.
Most of our clients are seen on a weekly basis. However, if you decide you would like to be seen bi-weekly or bi-monthly, that is up to you and your therapist to make an informed decision on.
You do not have to be in crisis or have any kind of mental health diagnosis to start services with us. We welcome you as you are. Whether you need help through a family dynamic or you’re just feeling stressed or overwhelmed at everything life is throwing your way. We’re here to help and guide you toward finding your Silver Lining.
Clients are billed for any balances that are applied as their responsibility after the primary and/or secondary insurance has processed their claim.
You can pay your bill online via secure bill payment at our Silver Linings website.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit card or debit card.
